Whether it be emails or the many notifications you get on your phone, which leads you to endless scrolling on social media apps.  These distractions cause us to be extremely unfocused and less productive, making us waste valuable time.  And as you know, time is the most valuable commodity needed, if we want to be consistent at something.

This could be a anything that you set your mind to improve yourself.  So, for example, exercising, learning a new skill, a new language or a hobby.  The list can go on!  But without time, you won’t be able to be consistent enough in what you are doing. And without consistency you won’t be able reap the maximum rewards that you would otherwise be capable of achieving.  Here are 10 great reasons on why you should get more consistent on the important stuff you do.

It’s the building block for forming new habits

Good habits are hard to create!  So, setting aside a specific time to chip away at something every day can help in creating a lasting habit.  Even if you initially find it hard to find the time, or find yourself putting things back, just do it!  Today’s the day, and the time is now!

Because, consistently forcing a specific time in and completing even a small task per day can put you in auto drive as the days pass.  This occurs as a new activity gets incrementally embedded in your brain.  Once this happens you will no longer have to force yourself to do it anymore and it would be part of your routine.
